Carolina Rush Corp PUCCF

Primary Symbol: V.RUSH

Carolina Rush Corporation is a Canada-based junior exploration company focused on exploring the Carolina Terrane in the southeast United States. The Company’s flagship Brewer Gold-Copper Project is located at the Brewer Gold Mine property, which covers approximately 397 hectares (ha) in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, 17 kilometers (km) along the trend from the producing Haile Gold Mine. Its Sawyer Mine Property is located approximately 12.5 km northwest of Asheboro and 11 km southwest of Randleman in northwest Randolph Count, North Carolina. Its Sawyer Mine Property covers approximately 54.6 ha located southwest of New Sawyer Project located in Randolph County, North Carolina. The Company’s New Sawyer Project’s land package is approximately 246.6 ha and contains the New Sawyer Gold Mine, which includes over 12 identified vertical shafts. The property lies within the Sawyer-Keystone Gold Trend.

Buzzard

BuzzardFound some drill results from a few years ago from firebirds buzzard property.  Promising results.   Haile is located to the south west of us (8ish km) buzzard is 2km south west and then it's our Brewer property all on treads from the southwest (haile) to the northeast(brewer) very promising

Overview

Firebird controls the key property at the Buzzard project, discovered by Dr. LaPoint and his team in 1996. The Buzzard Target is located in Lancaster County, South Carolina approximately 2 miles southwest of the Brewer Mine and 6 miles northeast of the Haile Mine. Gold mineralization has been located along a major tectonic structure that was active during volcanism and mineralization processes. Topographic linear features suggest that this northeast trending structure may also be a major control of gold mineralization at the Brewer mine and the Pipeline target at the Jefferson project to the northeast. During later deformation, further shearing has occurred along this structure and offsets mineralization. Where northwest trending structures intersect the northeast structure, mineralization blossoms out and grades increase. The High grade gold values occur in a hydrothermal breccia and crackle breccia with intense silicification, molybdenite, and chlorite. Other northwest structures along the northeast structure may be sites of high grade mineralization and two additional targets occur on the leased property east of the Buzzard mineralization.

Drill results suggest four major controls on gold mineralization at Buzzard: 1) Gold tends to be concentrated within a coarse-grained, heterolithic breccia; 2) gold is concentrated along lithologic contacts; 3) gold is concentrated within a shear zone; and 4) gold is concentrated within epiclastic and other lithologic units that exhibit evidence of hydro fracturing, especially in proximity to the shear zone. These same ore controls occur at the Haile Project of Romarco.

During 1996, core drilling identified economic grade gold occurring in an area at least 225 meters diameter. Two somewhat distinct zones of significant gold anomalies were delineated. The first zone is broadly constrained to a region extending from the surface to a depth of 115 meters. This near-surface zone locally contains continuous intervals greater than 35 meters thick with gold concentrations averaging up to 0.142 opt (ounces/ton). The upper zone occurs within a heterolithic breccia and siliceous epiclastic unit. The deeper zone is broadly constrained to a region extending from ~ 115 m to depths greater than 225 m. This zone contains continuous intervals of greater than 32 m with gold concentrations averaging up to 0.315 opt. Drilling in 1997 better defined the dimensions of this high grade gold.

The Table below summarizes the highest grade drill composites using at 0.3 ppm cutoff and approximately 5 meter composite interval. The Table includes a grade times thickness calculation with spectacular drill intercepts, all from the properties controlled by Pageland.

The Buzzard mineralization holds together very well as a sheet of mineralization which plunges to the southwest. Within this sheet there is a high grade core of mineralization flanked on both sides by a halo of 0.01 opt mineralization and an outer halo of greater than 100 ppb mineralization. There is a kink in the high grade mineralization where it intersects the northwest trending cross structure.

East of the Buzzard mineralization, a Mesozoic age diabase dike cuts mineralization. Similar dikes cut through the mineralization at the Haile mine, and do not terminate mineralization. Although lower grade, holes close to this dike are well altered. Another cross structure is thought to occur near the Lynches River, 1600 feet to the north east. RC holes in this area are anomalous in gold. Across the Lynches River, Pageland controls properties on this same structural trend west of the Brewer Gold Mine with only minimal testing by Inco in the 1980's.

Firebird has lease Agreements on 5 tracts with a total area of 254 acres. All historic drilling with significant high grade gold intercepts occur on land controlled by Pageland.
