PLA article - a bit long and dated, but interesting!Don't read this article if you can't handle  a challenging message. However, for those honestly trying to understand this changing industry, it is a good, balanced read.

By the way, I think one or two of the issues identified in it have been addressed in the last decade,  ( For instance, I think composting is becoming an increasingly common feature in municipalities), but there is still a ways to go.

Hope it is of interest to some of you.
