RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:For the longs

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:For the longsI remember that interview well.  As I recall, the boys at STZ were not amused at the time and he was let go shortly after.  Every time I listen to one of these shareholder meetings I am reminded that this remains the house that Bruce built.  It's all coming to fruition now. The STZ deal, Martha deal, BioSteel, Ebbu, Terrascend.   It's the only reason I didn't sell when they fired him, because it's still the company he built.  The next two years will be epic.
WestCoast78 wrote: Its so, so great.  I didnt think I could get more bullish, yet I am.  After listening for years about " the patents"  Ive also been waiting to see productive R&D and practical application for them.  I looked some them up a few years ago.  Some applications seemed like wet spaghetti at the wall.  However, some were super interesting.  Ebbu for example, came with many.

I recall Bruce, in one of his more confident interviews, mentioning that canopy will be a monster thc/cdb conglomerate, with a beer division ( stz)  lol.   Its not out of the question.  Stars are moving towards possible alignment.

TinToronto wrote: His enthusiasm was palpable and I honestly was astounded that Canopy spends more in R&D than the other top 5 LPs combined.  This will only serve us well, the results should be evident soon.
WestCoast78 wrote: I agree.  Mike is also a more confident speaker, comes more naturally to him.  Its becoming clear having two bright STZ,  CFO's running our show, is impressive.  This a fast course correct.

TinToronto wrote: After listening to financials this morning, I'm more impressed by Mike Lee than what Klein had to say. The explanation for the write downs and investments into R&D was exactly what I wanted to hear.
WestCoast78 wrote: looks like sector squeeze is going on.  We will have many more big days ahead.  More importantly, DK just conservatively provided guidance to profitability and eventually FCF.  These times did NOT have usa thc factored in.   The way now see it, Chuck will spend a few months dialing in the new legislation.  Id guess by summer or sooner that goes into law.  Two months after we enter usa thc, which will probably be early Fall.  The second half of fiscal 2022 we go EBITDA postive.  Same time next year.   I for one, am sitting back with pop corn, and enjoying the roast whilst enjoying my favourite canopy products.

Arpil 2019 - Oct 2020 was disgusting.

November 2020 - November 2025 will be one for the record books.

Enjoy, all longs, make the most of it.  USA THC only happens once, then EU THC also only once.
