RE:Barvue valueIt is very apparent the market is giving no value to Abcourt-Barvue/Vendome. For several reasons. Thanks for pointing out Dolly Varden Silver for comparison. Nice Ag grades. More like what is found in Mexico.
Fernand, my numbers are a little different than yours. It could be we used different sources. I made it simple for myself and used the 2017 Barvue Mine Report/Presentation data rather than the FS for Abcourt-/Barvue (2019) and the Vendome NI 43 101 (2013). I also used short tons for zinc with Vendome/Associated Deposits. The Vendome NI 43 101 might have used long tonnes. I didn't check.
Conclusions: Using all categories for Abcourt-Barvue and Vendome/Associated Deposits.
Ag: 23.59 million oz
Zn: 808.13 million lbs
Cu: ~12 million lbs
Au: ~38 thousand oz
In situ value ~$1.739 billion ($US)
US metal prices from yesterday used to figure the in situ value were:
Ag: $27.28 oz
Zn: $1.216 lb
Cu: $3.6462 lb
Au: $1837 oz
In situ value >2 billion (US) with Zn at $1.50 lb and Ag at $35.00 oz.
NOTE: Sleeping Giant mine has 211,014 oz gold in all categories (NR 5 Oct 20). At $1837 oz Au, the in situ value is $387,632,718. Abcourt-Barvue/Vendome is ~$1.352 billion greater than Sleeping Giant in situ value.
