No i stumbled on hybrit without your help or anyones posts .
they mean it .they will put more than 40 billion down to reduce co2emissions and are bloody serious about it .no pie in the sky .
LKAB was the first company who tried pyr s torches for iron pelletization .
they are part of hybrit .so whats your beyond meat beef .
they seem to confirm that they will use arc torches on a very big scale .
it is the customer of pyr who states it .not pyr .pretty useful.
at the present valuations we need to be able to trust that the contracts will happen if we want to stay in the stock with full confidence in the future .
From their web site
SSAB will cut its CO2 emissions in Sweden by 25% by as early as 2025, through the conversion of the blast furnaces in Oxelsund, Sweden, to an electric arc furnace. Between 2030-2040, the plan is to convert the blast furnaces in Lule, Sweden and Raahe, Finland to eliminate most of the remaining CO2 emissions.
The company anticipates that our Iowa operations will be powered by renewable energy by 2022. Our Americas operations will also be able to offer fossil-free steel products starting in 2026, utilizing the sponge iron developed using HYBRIT technology and produced in Sweden. At the same time, SSAB has started the process of phasing out fossil fuels used in rolling mills and heat treatment plants throughout the company, to reach the goal of becoming fossil-free by 2045.
what i get from this
is that the vikings are bloody serious about cutting co2 emissions .
and are putting billions where their mouth is .
and that we are in their gameplan ..(because of our LKAB connection )
i got my information from the horses mouth
and not from your posts .:) or Q&A s
peter never wants to reveal the name of pyrs customers .
but in doing so prevents us from making a clear opinion of where all this is headed.
i think it is clear that hybrit is big and that they will allocatebillions to reduce co2 emissions in a costeffective way .at all levels of the steel making process .
It is obvious they are serious about replacing co2generating technologies wherever they can.they want arc technology to replace fuel burners .
The hybrit plan is grand .exactly what we need if we expect to make billions .
it is bigger than pyr only which is perfect .
please read their publications instead of mine .
Mine are very poorly written i confess .
i think you didnt get the right answer
because you didn t ask the right question .
