'Ignore' is sometimes the only option
It's healthy to take the time to read differing views but when posters only aim to pollute a board, simply put them on 'Ignore'. At the very least, avoid responding to their posts. Otherwise you are simply contributing to the pollution. Such posters tend to suffer from attention deficit. So when ignored for a while they simply disappear, 'like magic'.
