Electra Battery Materials Corporation is a Canada-based processor of low-carbon, ethically sourced battery materials. The Company is focused on building a supply of cobalt, nickel and recycled battery materials. It is engaged in the business of battery materials refining, including refining material from mining operations and from the recycling of battery scrap and end of life batteries. It owns two main assets: the refinery located in Ontario, Canada and the Iron Creek cobalt-copper project located in Idaho, United States. Its projects include Ontario Refinery, Recycling, Becancour, North American Nickel and Iron Creek. It is in the process of constructing its expanded hydrometallurgical cobalt refinery, assessing the various optimizations and modular growth scenarios for a recycled battery material (known as black mass) program, and exploring and developing its mineral properties. The Iron Creek Project consists of mining patents and exploration claims over an area of 3,300 hectares.

Definitely a long hold I agree but very hopeful even in short term for incremental and logical gains as news of refinery progress releases. For me, the two new executives brought on a few weeks back show there is a backbone to the refinery construction. I thought I read one of the executives had a PR background and one was more EV technical. I expect timely updates on refinery and financing every week or two and the technical guy is probably trying to lock down a contract with one of the EV manufacturers that we know have already been in discussions with. There could be a huge EV manufacturer contract announced at any time in theory... Really the EV folks need the cobalt and it wouldn't be a stretch for them to negotiate rates with loan condition. My thoughts only. I'm a single investor, not affiliated with FCC in any way, first penny stock ever so take what you pay for. I'm a rookie but am guessing $.70-.80 by the end of 2021.
