Maple Leaf Green World Inc. N.MGW

"Maple Leaf Green World Inc and its subsidiaries focus on the cannabis industry in North America. It operates or funds three cannabis projects, in British Columbia, California, and Nevada. RE:MAPLE LEAF GREEN WORLD INC. ANNOUNCES ITS NEW CBG CIGARETTE

RE:MAPLE LEAF GREEN WORLD INC. ANNOUNCES ITS NEW CBG CIGARETTE No doubt that Telkwa is a huge disappointment and poorly conceived. It might be an uphill battle for MGW because they need to prove that Woodmere acted in bad faith in misrepresentating the possibility of the subdivision of the property. The optics are that the countersuit's purpose is to recover whatever financial assets they can from the doomed project. Anyhow, that project is well and truly dead and resides with the annals of casualties along with the seedlings, yellowhorn biodiesel, and pig farming fiascos. Someone needs to take Raymond's pen away and keep him from signing anymore of these crazy ideas. Not coincidentally, we promptly get a news release after the bombshell yesterday. Damage control?

It seems that the Hemp cigarette business is a well and truly "Hail Mary" attempt but it does have some good merits and prospects. The company Hempacco who they have partnered with had been working with TAAT,  a Hemp cigarette company.

https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/quote/TAAT.CN/

TAAT has seen a huge rise in market cap to $360m and from a low of about a 10 cent stock in 2019 to over $4 today. By partnering with Hempacco they give MGW access to some proven branding and sales distribution channels. The hemp cigarette business is new but seems favourable and expected to grow exponentially. TAAT gave samples to retailers and the response followed up with new orders. Hopefully "Phoenix Crave" will be able to ride their coat tails because it is doubtful that Raymond alone can market the product successfully. The proof will be in the sales numbers. If they can firstly get sales, and secondly grow sales will be instrumental to whether the Phoenix rises from the ashes or burns to the ground. Quite an appropriate name in my opinion.
