Canoe EIT Income Fund (the Fund) is a Canada-based closed-end investment trust. The investment objectives of Fund are to maximize monthly distributions relative to risk and maximize net asset value, while maintaining and expanding a diversified investment portfolio, primarily through acquiring, investing, holding, transferring, disposing of or otherwise dealing with or in equity and debt securities of corporations, partnerships, or other issuers and such other investments as the manager may determine in its sole discretion from time to time. EIT has been my best investment in my portfolio, if you account for tax free income that it generates and subtract the income from Cost base as long as it is in a registered account....they have been doing this for decades, sometimes pay from capital gains and other times issue more shares, but they reinvest in safe assets such as banks, utility companies etc.

they can keep their MER the same I don' tcare as long as they are paying .10/ share not affecting the unit price that much.
