RE:RE:Management Team

RE:RE:Management TeamThis is not a positive development in my mind.  First off they are robbing from themselves.  Given that their destinies are tied, if these individuals are good, they'd have been better served leaving them in place to execute on the build out of the JVs.  You don't poach from your own bench.  I work for big oil and gas and as a prime contractor, will very rarely will hire a good contractor to an employee role with my organization.  If they are good at their role, and I steal them for myself, I'm in in the same stroke shorthanding my contractor, who just happens to be executing my work, thereby shooting myself in the foot.  Secondly, these two people were given these roles based on relationships.  Having owned some mom and pop car dealerships, or hotels etc does not deem someone to be a successful buiness person.  While it may seem impressive to the layman, in the world of business it's mousenuts.  As shareholders we'd have been better served with them going to market and looking for professionals who've held senior roles in publicly traded companies.  I appreciate we're a small AB company and not a world class org attracting top talent, but we still could have attracted better.  This reeks of self-dealing, and sadly won't be well recieved I fear.
