Dark Pool

Dark PoolHey any of you smart HF types; I am new to trading (<1 month) I have been watching and bought a few exploration otc shares before only. can you explain the dark pool on how you use otc trading to avoid ssr and regulations? It sure looks like millions upon millions of shares are traded otc with GME to avoid regulations and to continually short stocks? Wow a would a share recall by gme expose this less than transparent method of shorting? I mean like wow. I must be interpreting this wrong from FINRA it looks like between otc and short exempt there are 500 million shares unaccounted for. If all those shares had to be replaced the price would take off. all us apes need to do is hodl and buy and sooner or later you won't be able to kick the can down the road any further. I'm just curious as I am new to this and accidentally found the finra website. Remember not financial advice and I am looking for some education on this. And I eat crayons.
