Shirtlessnomore wrote: I'm not going to argue about that Mirko, you are correct, there are many that basically stole money from the government and benefited way beyond just "keeping afloat" I have a number of rental properties that afford me the time to spend at my camp up in northern ontario, I have a neighbor that doesnt get there as much until last year when he gloated about spending so much time there because of not only his large cheques from the government but also collecting CERB for the whole family (him, his wife and his son and daughter) and he said and I quote "I just decided to turn all my work down and spend the year here on the governments dime" so yeah that definitely is an issue and we will all pay for it in the end. That's also not the only one I've heard about either, I'm no rat but this activity will do nothing but hinder us, our kids and their kids for generations. Another scenario I heard from at least 3 different people stating they take everything they can get and then just do cash jobs. For some this has been a cash cow, I personally have been financially unaffected really and havent taken a penny from the government.

My business got bailout money and my sales are up 40% so far this year over 2020, yes, 40% - even after a second locdown just after Christmas to mid Feb... And I qualified for the $20,000 grant last month because my sales were down 93% last April.. ... shows how stupid our govt systems are.. but yes I took advantge of it, and I wont appologize for it.

Shirtlessnomore wrote: Well in all fairness it was the governments that have closed them. No reason for walmart and costco to continue to be open and not small businesses. Small businesses are a large part of our country. If they didnt shut them down they wouldnt have to bail them out would they? If the zombies can wonder around the dollar store and walmart then they can wonder around every store. Every store that provides jobs to canadians is "essential"

We FAILED.... We saw it coming, but we couldn't stop even ONE case from spreading.

No TESTING, No PROOF,  No RESPONSIBILITY........   Blame it on others.

and now we wait like beggers for handouts for vaccines, We should be in complete lockdown and no more help to small business.  How many more generation will pay for bailing out the small business.

The reason i stated few days ago about small business. They recieve money and then close shop for good,. Here on this board we see the scums that are stealing from Canadians. There are lots of these scums.

I am paying over 180k in taxes a year from investment and few properties that I have. I know many people like this thief. I don't rate anyone but in  the case of this moron I will find out who he is and will report him to proper agency.  As you stated we will pay for these handouts for generations to come and this POS openly brags about it. This is total mismangment on the governement part with CERB and small buisnes assisatant. There are people like this POS who take advantaage and brag about on forum that every detaile information about a user can be find.
