Wow. Lots of catching up.I just sat down with a nice 25 year old Redbreast. ( for those who are imagining something sinful its an Irish whiskey LOL).
lots of good discussions going on here. my top 10 perspectives:
1. don't ever fall in love with a stock. Emotions get involved and cloud your judgement.
2. penny stocks are manipulated all of the time. That is why the venture is riskier that the big board (not much lol) Also, that is how these pennies stocks succeed and sometimes fail.
3. I have a legal background and have not seen one piece of factual evidence that proves Fire was held down. Everything I have read is hearsay or emotional opinions. So......this is a none issue unless we can subpeona the BOD and get the minutes to show that there was an orchestrated effort to hold this down and the plan was to sell the company at a discount.
4. 66% is a pretty good deal in any merger or aquistion that I have ever been involved in.
5. you may not like the deal but this deal was not about you (the shareholder) so get over it.
6. Stop attacking Sam. He has an opinion and is not saying anything that is not factual. You may not like what he says but it is what it is for now.
7. you are a shareholder of Fire. If you do not like the deal vote "no". If they get the 66% than do want is best for you on your investment. Hold it or sell it.
8. The one thing that has come to light here is that Beena did not want to grow and develop this company into a powerouse MJ entity we all wanted. Her and the BOD thought it was best to sell out. This is the what it is and it hurts. Get over it (see point #1).
9. Weed is not a great company but it is a pretty good company. They had enough forsight to buy Fire..right? Similiar to other sin stocks the cream will rise to the top and you will have the major players dominating. If you want to eventually own a 100 dollar stock than Weed may be your ticket.
10. Move on. Look for other opportunities to invest. The hunt and DD is the fun part of the process, you learn things about certain industries and companies. Holding the stock and watching the ups and downs is the painful part of the process.
Enjoy all and Slainte.
P.S. I have been reading the Weed BB and after conversing with all of these individuals here on this BB.....I know for sure one thing at Weed that will get better...IMHO>
Cheers.
