How do you qualify for an Interactive brokers Pro account?.. Thats the best intersest account... Are there any issues with holding canadian stocks, and issue with qualifying for a Pro account as a retail investor and not a professional?

I am sure there are some Interactive brokers account holders here, and if you care to comment it might be an education for others here also.

Thanks, GH.

Do you have private banking with TD? I am currently paying 1.75 interest on my margin account  but my holding is quite large. if you are reach out to you private banking team and I am sure they will be able to reduce the interest rate if you meet their criteria. '
