RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:More vaccinations can help keep infections to under 5,000

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:More vaccinations can help keep infections to under 5,000Of course florida and Texas are open !! they got vaccinated !! LOL.. Im dilusional? I just want this over. I have done my part, I have taken it seriously.. Im not delusional. How many strangers houses are you in every week? Me roughly 12 to 14.. Plus what my delivery guys do. And I see them twice weekly face to face....  I need to take it seriously as someone with asthma. There is plenty of fear mongering, by the govt and media. We are months behind the US. With any luck by July we wont have any masks either, and if the cases are in the low 100's for Ontario thats a sign its working. We just have to keep waiting..

gashole wrote: Maybe it's just the same protesters all the time and that group itself has established herd immunity LOL... and yes my sister is working a lot of hours and she said they are definitely short of resources and personnel... as for the government they definitely are not ProActive at all and even Trudeau who said I think it was in January that we are now going to open up our own facility to make the novavax vaccine I mean shouldn't that have been planned a year prior? We could have already been making our own vaccines right now... and yes I remember the predictions for cases through the roof which never happened not even close but right now we are definitely spiking in a huge way if you look at the charts... given our population I am thinking we could go from 5000 a day to 20,000 a day or 30,000 a day in a month and a half but by then on the same token we should have half the population or close to it vaccinated.. this whole thing makes me sick the government makes me sick the media makes me especially sick and I am definitely tired of it and I know for a fact that cases are spiking because people have virus fatigue and they are just getting to the point where they would rather have the virus and get it over with then keep dealing with this bs.. I think maybe you are starting to feel that way as well and to be honest I don't really blame you

gashole wrote: Comebacks cases dropped into the 100's per day not thousands like we have in Ontario I think they almost eradicated it in Quebec but let the protests go on for a few more weeks and see what happens
Shirtlessnomore wrote: Gas, have you seen what's going on in montreal? Hoards of people all together in giant protests every week there because of the curfew, if anything is going on there its herd immunity from these large gatherings. That's jmo.
gashole wrote: Yeah 30,000 cases a day that's if people decide to take it upon themselves to get together with family and friends instead of just biting the bullet once and for all and getting this over with... the people that are taking it upon themselves to visit people are the ones that are screwing everybody else.... what's a few more weeks compared to the future? Not very much... the cases in Quebec they are far below Ontario now when they used to be way above Ontario but they locked everything down solid and tight and put a curfew in place which is horrible but they are now benefiting from the hard lockdown..

Otherwise according to a report in the Star

Today’s coronavirus news: Ontario projects worst-case scenario of more than 30K new infections a day by the end of May; Canada’s incoming supply of Moderna vaccine slashed in half through end of April
