RE:RE:Also....Hello Janota59,
While the prices have been reduced, here is what they currently represent in Canadian dollars at R$1 = $0.23 Cdn on a per tonne sold basis:
K-forte granel
R$ 257t, was R$ 374t 14-04-2021 $59.11 versus $86.02 (-31.3%)
K-forte big bag
R$ 307t, was R$ 424t 14-04-2021 $70,61 versus $97.52 (-27.6%)
BaKs granel R$ 371t and big bag R$ 406t $85.33 and $93.38
While the reductions are significant, what I am focused on is the fact that in the 2020 audited financial statements, the average price per tonne for the 243,707 tonnes sold was only $37 Canadian. Even the significantly reduced prices being quoted in April 2021, versus those that were showing on the website in the January through March quarter, are significantly above the $37 average for 2020.
The $59.11 per tonne shown as the cheapest price above is a 60% increase over the $37 average price in 2020.
As I suggested in an earlier posting, there is something that just does not seem to add up in these figures. We will be able to do further analysis when the Q1 numbers are released in May - did the average selling price per tonne increase dramatically in 2021 over the $37 audited average reported for 2020?
Stay tuned.
