Nutrien's new CEO

Nutrien's new CEOHello fellow Verde investors,

The Financial Post has an article on the new Nutrien CEO Mayo Schmidt with the headline:

CEO shuffle could yield M&A, say investors

Acceleration of M&A is a natural progression as we enter the next commodity supercycle.

Based on past experience, Mr. Schmidt is an avid deal maker, buying up compititirs, aggregating businesses and then reorganizing and selling of pieces. The article suggests Nutrien could try to acquire US nitrogen fertilizer rival CF Industries, which has a $10 billion market capitalization.

Or Mr. Schmidt could open Nutrien's Petty Cash box and buyout Verde Agritech to get rid of a potential nuisance down the road. Only my shares are not for sale. How about yours?

Cheers,

S.
