RE:RE:RE:RE:New Interview with Beena on Canopy DealYou’re absolutely right.  I watched the full interview and I agree with beena.  Their focus was on cost cutting measures and the domestic market.  Tells me she knew with their balance sheet and strong product line it was in the best interest of the company at the time. 
The raises (and I still believe to be the case ) were to add a healthy cash position for m&a and opportunities for growth.  
If you’ve been on the sector long enough, fair market value of a company is determined by what someone is willing to pay.  Regardless of wether many think we sold short, in reality did we?
Canopy isn’t the same company it was a year ago.  If you don’t like the deal then sell.  Voting no as opt stated and others would keep fire trading in the .20’s going forward if not lower.  Regardless what you think it’s worth.
That’s reality as this sector is evolving. Its a good deal.  Jmo
