IIRC one key diffence is that in the past they never even revealed the identities of supposed partners. This time we know it is TMAS and they both publicly stated a willingness to complete the deal. I have worked on some pretty large legal Agreements in the past (although in a different industry) and the back-and-forth redlining by lawyers can be brutal depending on their zealousness.....
