RE:RE:RE:Stephen Takacsy comments further on companyIn fairness to slurpeesrock, I certainly can't say for sure that Baylin is NOT on the verge of greatness.
Baylin reminds me of a tech-industrial company that I used to be on the board of. It was a strange mix of some really, really good people and other people who were never-ending problems that you could never get rid of. Of course the problem people NEVER see themselves as problems.
Regardless, I don't doubt that Baylin may have some leading antenna tech.
But with someone like Takacsy, and lots of other Baylin boosters, it's hard to get away from the impression that their enthusiasm stems from a years-ago decision to fall in love with the story (and stay in love with it, possibly until death or bankruptcy), as opposed to a dispassionate look at the actual current situation.
All these boosters, from Takacsy on down, have any of them closely followed what the competion has been working on? What Ericsson (among others) has to offer looks pretty darned impressive to me. And Ericsson can offer a total equipment package in a way that little Baylin will never be able.
Anyways, slurpeesrock, the fact that you may have been following Baylin for the last 20 years, or whatever, is irrelevent. Unwavering loyalty to a story, by itself, is actually kind of dangerous in that it will tend to leave the door wide open to expensive error.
