Q1 total cost = $1.28 per pound

Q1 total cost = $1.28 per poundSimple calculation.  Loss of $2.5M on 74.8M pounds = $.03 per pound.  Average price of zinc was $1.25.  Trevali would have needed $1.28 zinc to break even.

Bone headed management delivered yet another horrendous performance.  Keep in mind this is after the new treatment costs should have reduced cash cost by $.14 per pound.

The cost of opening Caribou was $6.3M, which represents $.08 per pound.

There are some people on this board who are only concerned about cash flow, but the market does not care about anything except profit.  The fact that this company now needs $1.28 per pound to break even is a disaster.
