Good point about the gap.

Gaps are tricky and sometimes they're not as clean as others. For example, the downdraft on March 5th with a low of 0.99 was below the price on January 28th, but not below the high price of .91 on February 1st, nor below the close of .89 on Feb.1.

So, we wait for confirmation. And we wait to see if there is a false confirmation or if we wish to make it personal, a head-fake.

It's May and most trends are down.

Is it an exceptional year? Not for my portfolio. I have often realized that if I had sold everything on March 15th I would be much farther ahead in mid-May. Forget "sell in May and go away";that's what everyone else does!

So, we wait. Maybe we hold a core position. Maybe not.

As you can see, I am really uncertain in mid-May. LOL
