Future quarters are likely to start seeing property value writeups instead of writedowns, which could intensify as everything re opens and normalizes.
Pre covid this thing was 205 ish. The big question I suppose is will real estate gain in value relative to pre covid values? Will the post covid price return to 205, or, will real estate values settle at even higher than they were post covid... which means it will blow through 205.
Sitting on a pretty big pile here... it's my #3 position. My #1 is Boardwalk Reit.
It's a nice buy and hold stock. I think the CEO is a value creator. I like how he refied the latest deb issue by issuing mortgages and from cash on hand, rather than doing so at what might have been a poor rate like the prior issue.
