Dividend in stockFun with math. There are , let's round, 17 million shares o/s. Let's look at board lots . That's 170,000 shareholders of 100 shares each. There are 1,100,000 acres of freehold timberland here at ADN. So , how about the company distribute a 1 acre freehold lot of land to shareholders with 100 shares? That's just 15.5% of landholdings. For free. Just the recently cut land where the value of the logs has already been monetized! If I have 1000 shares, give me 10 contiguous acres. 10,000 shares=100 acres Etc. That would reduce landholdings from 1,100,000 acres to 930,000 acres. Would anyone notice? I'll take my homestead in Maine please. I already have 20 acres in the maritimes. I'm just spitballing but it just demonstrates how undervalued the assets are here. I paid $1000 an acre, many years ago for my 20 acres of part cleared land. Our landholdings are valued at $ 1.1 BILLION at that price! That's about $65 per share for post harvested land. That would value the "stock dividend" at $1000 per board lot or $10 per share! We could do that 6.5 times and STILL have 1,300,000 acres of crown land to harvest. Math is FUN!
