North American Financial 15 Split Corp. is a mutual fund corporation, which invests in a portfolio of over 15 financial services companies. It offers two types of shares, such as Preferred Shares and Class A Shares. Its investment objectives with respect to preferred shares are to provide holders of preferred shares with cumulative preferential monthly cash dividends, the amount of which is fixed on an annual basis and to pay the holders of the preferred shares a certain price per preferred share on or about the termination date. Its investment objectives with respect to class A shares are to provide holders of class A shares with regular monthly cash distributions and to permit holders to participate in all growth in the net asset value of the Company for a specific price per unit, by paying holders on or about the termination date such amounts as remain in the Company after paying a specific price per preferred share. I must confess i sold some FFN today that i had picked up yesterday.  Was too heavy into one stock for my liking.
Put those proceeds into DFN... seems prudent here to keep some in a  more diversified split fund common.. Premium  to NAV for DFN  @ 11.2%  says it is actually  a better value.
But FFN of course has the much higher yield, so seems a wash to me....

]I would like to know how you calculate the NAV of this stock? I went through all the stocks in the FFN portfolio starting from the first time they started paying dividends again, the cumulative value of the stocks as of January 15, 2021 was $1236. 03$ and the total value of the shares after yesterday's slight decline at the close was $1447.51 and all the shares have taken back almost all their losses so I wonder how you come to calculate NAV and what you base your figures on?
