RE:FFN unit NAV to July 9 = approx. $ 16.40mouserman wrote: SO the spreadsheet showed about a 14 cent loss in UNIT NAV since June 30th... and shortsellers have had their way with this stock so far...
BUT the valuation at this point is still ok.... the premium now up to about... 13.7%
I must confess i sold some FFN today that i had picked up yesterday. Was too heavy into one stock for my liking.
Put those proceeds into DFN... seems prudent here to keep some in a more diversified split fund common.. Premium to NAV for DFN @ 11.2% says it is actually a better value.
But FFN of course has the much higher yield, so seems a wash to me....

]I would like to know how you calculate the NAV of this stock? I went through all the stocks in the FFN portfolio starting from the first time they started paying dividends again, the cumulative value of the stocks as of January 15, 2021 was $1236. 03$ and the total value of the shares after yesterday's slight decline at the close was $1447.51 and all the shares have taken back almost all their losses so I wonder how you come to calculate NAV and what you base your figures on?
