Jones Sodataking a breather today. It is a good illustration of the potential for cannabinoid infused beverages watching JSDA with their impressive uptick on little more than a nr that they would make an effort at new vice drinks.
A little study on them and they needed to do something because they have had a long history of struggle.
They have the bottling end covered but need to develop or buy the IP for cannabinoids such that they will have fast onset and offset and how to manage the nasty flavour of thc and cbd. They will also need to try out some flavours and strengths to see what effects they get.
Tinley has all of that in spades. We've done the work, the market testing and dealt with a miriad of the other problems that have occured along the way to be a going concern in California. We have 7 or 8 skus with THC and another line of skus called Becketts for the sober curious, adult flavoured options that emulate our loaded versions, for them that don't want to get buzzed.
Tinley purpose-built their own facility in California and have done a ton of work to do so and to get both lines of products on shelves, where allowed.
We even have surplus bottling capacity for sale for an alternate revenue stream.
Jones is Seattle based and an infant in the cannabinoid infused but you saw what kind of excitement they generated which gives me great hope that Tinley can do the same on substance and not just future plans. I expect that Jones will have to go through all of the legal hoops in Washington, probably have to revamp their bottling facility for cannabinoid injection, pasteurization and such and then try to break into the market with their new line.
Tinley has done all of that and deserves more respect than they are getting from shareholders. I hope Jeff can do this or will step aside and get somebody that can.
Either way he has a lot of skin in the game as does Rick and I'm still not sure what our directors are doing but it seems to me that Jeff could use some help. It is a long grind!
