What does it mean when?Private equity owns or will own a large portion of a public oil company........imo it means they want the company in privaye hands and therefore are not interested in a high share price for sgy in the public market.........their only interest is to get the company private as cheao as possible.......then sell the company privately to another large public company.........this is how private equity investor dudes get rich and how calgary privste equity dudes can buy multi million dollar resort propertied in invermere bc.......lol
