RE:RE:RE:RE:My AISC calculationMoneyMan, I used to do budgeting for a large company, and I agree that capital spending vs. expensing and depreciation schedules are not an exact science.  However, my guess is that the depreciation and depletion that Trevali reports is a fair guess.  The mines definitely lose value over time as the ore is pulled out, and the mining equipment loses value as it wears out.  A loss of value on the balance sheet is not a cash loss, but it is a loss of value in what the shareholder owns.
