RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Smells like another BRE-X Funny thing, I've worked on wells in duvernay, montney, eagle ford, permian, etc as well (so all throughout North America, as well as the Middle East). Those aren't exploration type operations, they were delineated decades ago, so your initial post doesn't make sense. In all of the fields you listed you would absolutely shoot seismic first because the publicly available info allows you to properly interpret the results and mitigate risks.
None of the fields you mentioned are exploration, those formations were drilled into and through 50 years ago. Now if you had mentioned kashagan or Bonaparte (although those are offshore and the risk and cost profiles of developing those assets absolutely justify seismic first) I would have believed that you took part in true exploration - how about Jean d'arc, vaca muerta in SA, even Stabroek (and that's an easy one in Guyana).
