Investment Dollars I understand that things take time when a new government comes in. Especially, a very corrupt one that was replaced. But this is getting continuously pushed down the road when GQC has met all the requirements and red tape thrown at them. We need something more positive than the constant lip service. I have maxed out all my investment dollars that I care to on GQC.
On another note. My daughter is planning a wedding that was supposed to happen this year but COVID took care of that. It is being postponed until next year now to be safe. The DR was the intended destination for approx 40 + people that are planning to attend. Kind of a wedding/vacation event. Being the Dad and having to shell out a whack of dough, I have to ask myself is this where I want more of my $ going to? It would have been a no brainer if permits had been granted and some of my investment turned profitable. But right now it seems counter productive, putting money into tourism. A decision on booking will have to made in the next 2-3 months and are we booking a DR or Las Vegas reception? We will see. How many other investors have been soured by this and have made alternative vacation destinations? Just saying...
