Yes I see what you mean - it looks like they have been busy with site preparation work, likely leveling areas for follow development. The diagram on page 26 of the 45 page licence you shared the other day identifies 3 new pits (East, Central and West) with dotted lines, located across the ravine that marks the current northern boundary of the Southern pit. This looks like where the next phase of extraction development will come from, and if the plant is accurately located by the map reference provided it will sit at the point where the three new pits converge.

If the work is just moving the existing terrain around and not bringing in new material or removing the old, then the road prohibitions and protests should not negatively impact this important on site work.

I will give it a couple of weeks and then get the drone in the air again for another survey. The satellite pictures are great, but I like the close-up view from 500 feet to gain the most accurate assessment of how the expansion is progressing.
