At some point, "Some" good news will bring buyers and the shorts will get squeezed.  Like increase in distribution, or more refinancing at lower rates, major re-leasing or even a sale of some asset at an attractive price....etc etc.  If something bad happens, the shorts will hold the floor.

Most of the float is in at much higher prices and those will need much higher prices to sell.

Fingers crossed as i have a large bet on this one.  Sold all my other REITS for Mrt.un.  Was previously averaging up well over $7 and then made my amateur move and averaged down.  Got greedy with high conviction after their last quarterly report.   Promissed myself, I would never do that again.  Am getting anxious in my old age.  Still working on my descipline.   Good Luck Longs.
