I have been working as General Contractor 30 years. Most homes have a 100amp main panel. Most bigger New homes have 200amps.l have not seen a single dwelling home with bigger than 200amp panel. 200amp would run two charging stations. All homes with a detached garage need to upgrade panel to garage. Neighborhoods may need to upgrade feeds. Most condos have 60amps,newer ones have 100amp. Good times for Electricians. 40 to50000
