RE:RE:RE:Namibia CM - buyout target?

RE:RE:RE:Namibia CM - buyout target?Or, so could the Chinese! Now wouldn't that make for a interesting bidding war? Basically, two countries that want that HREE (and gold in the Chinese case). Look at the recent HREE import figures for Chinese imports of Myanmar HREE; down 90% due to Covid.

This is JOGMEC's big problem. How do they fend off any hostile bid for Namibia, which based on current Japanese REE sector moves appears to be their next HREE supplier? Any past Japan supported Lynas HREE (presently processed in China) is likely to go to the US if they process in Texas. Even if JOGMEC goes to level 3 financing for NCM (another $10 mill' input) this still would not protect this entity from a hostile outside bid.

I believe that two entities hold more than 50% of the NCM shares, but money is money, so where would they lean? Where as the Japanese would probably spin off the gold projects, etc., the Chinese are likely to want all and thus will pay a higher price than maybe the HRE focussed Japanese would want. But then both countires want that HREE.

Certainly JOGMEC must be looking at ways to secure this large rcently mulitlplied resource with a new 25 yr mining permit, so, maybe they do buy the company soon and pray there is no Chinese 'interest' appearing.

I think if it occurred, it would make for one of the most interesting strategic buyout confrontations in many years; certainly in REE.
