I know you weren't seeking my comment, not an enlightened rock hound, but I take it they hope the high grade VMS lenses discovered at Eskay Creek (after decades of exploration and awareness it was an ancient VMS deposit) might be replicated in the neighbourhood.

The challenge is two or three fold ... the zoning of the original hydrothermal smokers is not always the same, depending on the fluids coming up in each vent, the gold/silver high grade zone in a VMS is a small lense on small dimension compared to the likely VMS environment, and post-deposition geology - faulting, folding, erosion, mineralization or leaching is like putting it all in a giant blender.

Interesting results for exploration geologists who love rocks, still long shot drilling?  This is swing for the fences type stuff.  Low probability high payoff.
