A slow sensible well thought out move away from oil & gas as prime sources of heating and fuel could probably be acceptable to most people because one has to realize they are not a never ending source.

Trouble is that is not what we are getting. We have some very big money that is pushing the fear factor
about existential threats of the earth dying before our eyes if we don't abolish this thing called CO2 - the stuff that is a lifeline to everything plant based in our planet.

That old mantra - "follow the money" - how much money is being made by who as they scare everybody to rush into and waste all kinds of resources and personal wealth in a "panic" move to goofy alternatives like wind and solar and poor technology batteries and power storage systems.

People will get ridiculously rich off of this panic move and it will not be you and me. There are good alternatives out there and they will eventually come to the forefront but not before all these fear mongers become filthy rich in stage one. All at your expense and inconvenience. On that note I am too old to take too big of a hit and will not be around to see the final stages.

Having been here for over eighty years and seeing how the climate has changed constantly up and down, back and forth, or whatever which way you want to call it, as it is driven by Mother Nature and knowing what the air we breathe every day is like compared to 80 years ago I can honestly say there is definitely no reason to panic regardless what some 18 year old like Greta might say, or an Al Gore or a Joe Biden or a John Kerry or a Justin Trudeau and should I say Suzuki.(What do all these people have in common? They are examples of filthy rich, so you know how much concern they have for you -- just watch their own personal actions as opposed to what they tell you that you must do). Find out what Greta's story is after she is 80 --- although she could end up being another wingnut like Jane Fonda. Even some of us elders are over the edge.
