In A Weird Way ...... I feel happier that no major would be likely to touch GQC until it has gained its environmental permit, precisely because it's not easy to do this in the DR, as we well know. The longer we have to drill (particularly Cachimbo), the more gold we will discover, and the higher the eventual takeover price will be. I think it's quite possible that Cachimbo could be much bigger than Romero, so we could be talking a massive seam of gold.
So it's frustrating right now, but in the longer term, I think those that hang on will be richly rewarded.
Not saying how far off either the permits or the buyout will be, just saying that the longer it is, the more we are likely to discover.
