Electra Battery Materials Corporation is a Canada-based processor of low-carbon, ethically sourced battery materials. The Company is focused on building a supply of cobalt, nickel and recycled battery materials. It is engaged in the business of battery materials refining, including refining material from mining operations and from the recycling of battery scrap and end of life batteries. It owns two main assets: the refinery located in Ontario, Canada and the Iron Creek cobalt-copper project located in Idaho, United States. Its projects include Ontario Refinery, Recycling, Becancour, North American Nickel and Iron Creek. It is in the process of constructing its expanded hydrometallurgical cobalt refinery, assessing the various optimizations and modular growth scenarios for a recycled battery material (known as black mass) program, and exploring and developing its mineral properties. The Iron Creek Project consists of mining patents and exploration claims over an area of 3,300 hectares.

Sure we all like to be hopeful but lets not mislead others by trying to join all these dots that are feint at best.
The facts are the facts, whether positive or negative but its only the company that knows whats really going on behind closed doors.
The rest of us have to guess and speculate but sometimes that tends to run thick and fast around here and it doesnt help anyone, especially newbies, its just giving them false information and hope.

GL to all of us here, we deserve to have our day. This company is notorious for not meeting timelines but surely we cant be too far away now.
 
Below please find latest interview with Trent Mell. The start of build as I pointed out some time ago, is a matter of permits. Will they get the full applied allotment or some watered down version depends how large the building has to be. That's the delay.
Trent even mentioned  permits  during the interview.
