Queensway has some places where there isn't much overburden, but it certainly doesn't appear to meet the first criteria. Also, based on where Keats is located, not sure a massive open pit structure is exactly the look you want to go for.
There will be some surface mining (particularly around Keats where there is shallow high grade material), but it will look more like a deep trench (~35M) instead of a big open pit. Then you will have some portals nearby leading into the underground structures.
