I think it depends on how much of the operations you want to include as a measure against cash to arrive at a cost estimate. Novo is both a mining/production company and an exploration business. If we include all of Novo's activities in the calculation, then it seems reasonable to divide the Quarter 3 Cash Position loss of $1.9M by the same quarter's 478,000 tonnes production. That would be a cash loss of $3.98 per tonne.

Of course that leaves out the value that exploration, investments and other developments have gained. Makes me wonder what this type of cost estimate could achieve?
