RE:RE:Zinc will hit $1.50 this year
MobySmooth, the performance of Trevali stock has been absolutely horrendous considering the rally in the price of zinc.  Bone headed management has ruined this company.  The stock price should be in the $.50 to $.75 range right now.  What is really sad is how some of the people on this board have actually supported bone headed management during this fiasco.  This company has terrible mines and terrible management.

The hedging especially has been absolutely awful.  Caribou should have never been opened with a $1.25 hedge.  They should have waited for at least $1.35.  I would bet that inflation is killing the cost structure at Caribou, and that mine could actually be losing money.

At the other mines, costs are through the roof.  The total cost per pound of zinc was $1.28 in both Q1 and Q2.  That is after a $.10 reduction in treatment costs this year.  Costs are completely out of control, and management is doing nothing to fix the problems.
