RE:Why Porter Airlines bought Embraer jets instead C-Series?Cheap thats why. Embraer gave deep discount as they are struggling against a220 and buying from Brazil gives Porter low export loans to finance those airplanes from Brazil government. Canadian airliners buying Canadian made airplanes cant get EDC low interest loans.
