Alternate Symbol(s):  V.RHC.WT.B | RHCCF | V.RHC.WT.A

Royal Helium Ltd. is a Canada-based company, with a primary focus on the production and development of helium and associated gases and is currently producing helium from its Steveville project in Southern Alberta. Its helium reservoir at Steveville is carried primarily with nitrogen. Nitrogen is not a greenhouse gas (GHG) and therefore have a low GHG footprint when compared to plants in other jurisdictions that rely on large scale natural gas production for helium extraction.

Saskatchewan Helium Action Plan

Saskatchewan Helium Action PlanThe Saskatchewan government is targeting to be a top world helium producer (10% by 2030) . To achieve this goal, they are going to release soon the Helium Action Plan witch is probably going to be bunch of measures, incentives, credits etc...to make it easier for helium company (including RHC obviously) to reach this target. The interest of the government make total sense because the bigger it get, more and more high paying jobs are created and more and more $$$$is directly going in Saskatchewan economy. And the fact that it was explicitly stated during the Throne Speech speaks for itself. This news, because it was not directly related to RHC, kind of fell under the radar but in my opinion it is a very big deal having the government getting involved and make things easier. The Plan is already done and just need to be presented and aproved by the Chamber specially that the Premier said that it would be presented this fall. It’s not the kind of document that you write on the back of a napkin. Thought anyone? GLTA
