RE:RE:RE:RBC

RE:RE:RE:RBCCouldn't agree more. To add to that I believe oil companies should start diversifying and be leaders in new energy solutions to the coming energy crisis, because of the under investment in new oil supply a energy crisis is going to happen. Those that have invested in CVE are all contrarian investors to some degree, seeing value where the market doesn't.

My thoughts are that the companies don't worry about demand destruction due high oil prices. Instead focus on the reasonable solutions to lower Co2 output.. carbon capture and storage will become the new standard and the realities are that pipelines are the least carbon intensive and safest way to transport oil. Canada needs to lower carbon intensiveness in it's oil production and then heavily market that against the OPEC oil.

Also, if CO2 can be used as a feedstock for carbon fibre (10x stronger than steel, lbs for lbs) production and other products such as renewable diesel then we are laughing. All of a sudden we have a vast feedstock for the materials and energy building block of the future.
