It owns and manages a diversified portfolio of office, industrial, retail, multi-suite residential and hotel properties in North America. It is a significant sponsor of two real estate investment trusts (REITs): Morguard REIT, a closed-end Trust with a diversified portfolio of Canadian commercial real estate assets; and Morguard North American Residential REIT, an open-end Trust with a diversified portfolio of multi-suite residential assets across North America.

RE:RE:Short position update

Shorts are keeping a lid on the upside and are active daily on MRT. In rough numbers, the entire short position increased 87k shares between Nov 1 - 15 while the entire volume was only 703k shares (TSX only) - so 12% of the volume. Explosive upside when the distribution is increased - huge position to cover. GLTA
