RE:RE:I will be voting NO,no matter how this is spun, the facts are that KL shareholders get diluted, KL is trading above the 200 day average even the 60 day average, AEM is still in a downtrend and is still trading below the 200 day average, even with the merger announcement.
This may just slow the downtrend of AEM to the detrement of KL shareholders. Not sure why anyone would hold their nose and vote against their own interest and yet still don't believe KL shareholders get fair value.
Yes maybe gold will be higher next year, maybe not!
But in that case KL alone would do better than AEM. No debt and big cash hoard, if gold goes down below $1673 no one know where it will settle. This merger is designed to protect and mitigate risks for AEM, and NOT KL. I believe that if gold goes down, in a year KL could merge with AEM, but in that case AEM would get the .7935 discount, and like it!
