Shaw, Rogers Merger

According to reporting from The Globe and Mail, Corus still receives around $12 million per year from Shaw, Rogers has said that if the merger is approved by the CRTC, Corus will no longer recieve the $ 12 million from Rogers.
I am wondering whether the drop in the share price of Corus is related to this or any other issues with the merger.
