RE:RE:RE:RE:Monument Reports First Quarter Fiscal 2022Here`s what can be expected when dealing with regulators .
ORONTO — Ontario’s auditor general has found the province’s securities regulator has not alerted the public to many potentially risky investments and failed to collect the majority of fines it imposed over the last decade.
Bonnie Lysyk says in her annual report that her office looked closely at 35 of the 2,029 cases between 2016 and 2021 that the Ontario Securities Commission took limited or no action on after being alerted to problems by other regulators and whistleblowers.
Lysyk’s office found that in almost half of the cases it analyzed, the OSC had sufficient information to issue a warning about potentially harmful activity to investors, but didn’t.
The staff at OSC are workhorses when compared to BCSC . These reports come out every few years and go nowhere . Romara is right . Hire the Hell`s Angles . Much cheaper than lawyers and do a better job .
Our only real option is to find a takeover company . There would be many that aren`t even aware of MMY . I am very surprised these Germans who supposedly hold the majority of stock haven`t done this . Maybe they can`t vote ??? , but they can sell their shares to a buyer . Something is odd there and with this Dato` fellow who is also impossible to contact . I just want to ask him ," hey big spender . What gives ? "
