RE:RE:Cybersecurity companies -- more pain

RE:RE:Cybersecurity companies -- more painBlackBerry has completely restarted, reinvented it's entire business model over the past decade. Transitioning from a hardware manufacturer to a software/cybersecurity company. The pioneer of the smartphone to silently securing the world.

Tell me how do you safely complete this type of transition while staying alive? You can't just simply close down all your existing revenue streams and say "Ok, today we are a software company!". You'd be finished. Dead.

You have to slowly create new revenue streams and scale back old declining revenue streams, all while managing your people, financials, investors, brand, credibility, etc...

If BlackBerry kept it's previous business model, it would've filed for bankruptcy 6-years ago. That's a fact.
