RE:Did they perform as expected the manufactured batteriesTcheck wrote: GMG) has manufactured the first graphene aluminum-ion batteries at its pilot plant
they didn t even confirm this
as assume they are working
GMG could not say it, because I am sure it does not work as expected yet.
This stock needs, patience and nerve to hold.
Fist was a prototype - hand-made battery in the lab, practically a wish list...
Second is to made first battery - they maybe spoiled 100 of them and to produce first, GMG may stopped the plant 30 times. Defientely not a manufacture mode, "as expected."
Now, they, probably, adjusting plant to reach stage where one battery made at first or second attempt (50% spoilage would be a success on its own).
Only, then, continuous production. We may even see the news that plant does not work and GMG would need different plant or is part to remake and hope that it will work.
Even then, I would be surprised if no redisign be needed for larger operation.
Initially, it took 12 hours for Ford to produce only chassis - for its T model.
After a year of adjustments it took 1.5 hours to manufacture entire car...
Now, we have better modeling system, but still engineering is challenging.
Most important part of the news, that step 2 is behind us. I, actually, surprised how quicly they assmbled the plant.
Waiting for production news - that would be huge.
